Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in commercial and multi-family residential construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial and/or multi-family construction projects from planning through to completion.
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and quality control.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant laws.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to clients and senior management.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and site supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • OR Degree from a Technical School
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial and/or multi-family projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
