Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in construction project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in the planning and execution of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate completion of project tasks.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Monitor project progress and report on project status, identifying potential issues and assisting in problem resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Assist in preparing and managing project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical support and updates as needed.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture
  • OR Degree from a Technical School
  • 2-3 years of experience in construction project engineering or a related role.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
